Setting Up GHL Nexgo Credit Card Terminal
Introduction
This article walks you through the setup process for the GHL Nexgo credit card terminal in Classic POS.
Getting Started
Before setting up the terminal configuration, there are few processes required to update first:
- Similar to the GHL Epay Ewallet setup, users need to insert the Private Key Passphrase and also upload Public Key and Private Key.
- The location of the configuration is located in System Configuration > Payment > Current Outlet > Nexgo Setting.
- Next users might need to go to System Configuration > Device Configuration > This Machine > Nexgo Configuration to insert the required Terminal ID and Merchant ID.
Device Configuration
- After setting up the necessary information above, users can proceed to add the Card Terminal selection which is in System Configuration > Device Configuration > This Machine > Credit Card Terminal.
- First tick "Enable credit card terminal setting" and from the dropdown list of Terminal, select GHL Nexgo and press Add.
In the configuration dialog, verify the details you entered. Then enter a preferred name in the Device Name field.
If required, enable Can Void to automatically trigger the void function when a sales void is performed.- Once the setup is complete, the card payment option will be available in both Retail POS and F&B POS.
GHL Cert generation
- Go to https://pre-sandbox.ghlapps.com/sandbox and login
- After login, select ECR to proceed.
- After that, go to Configuration > Key manage and follow the steps required to generate and sign the cert.
- After generating and signing the cert successfully, go to the Nexgo Setting to proceed to upload the cert.
