8.0 News


The News module allows businesses to publish announcements, promotions, and campaign updates directly within the Xilnex Loyalty App. It acts as a built-in communication hub that keeps members informed and connected with your brand's ongoing activities without relying on external channels.


How It Works
Business administrators publish news articles or posts via the Xilnex Portal. Published content appears in the News section of the app, where members can browse and read updates at any time. This ensures members always have a direct line to the latest brand communications.


Supported News Types
Businesses can manage content across the following news types:
News TypeDescription
AnnouncementsGeneral brand or operational updates (e.g., new outlet openings, system maintenance notices).
PromotionsTime-sensitive campaign updates, discount notices, or limited offers to drive purchases.
Campaign UpdatesProgress or outcome updates related to ongoing loyalty campaigns or events.
Social Media SyncSync social media posts directly into the News feed to extend content reach within the app.

Notes:
  1. Content types and publishing schedules are fully manageable via the Xilnex Portal, giving businesses complete control over what members see and when.
  2. The News section is read-only for members. Members can view published content but cannot comment or interact with posts directly.


How to Create Loyalty News Tags

  1. Log in to Xilnex Portal and go to Customer Engagement https://portal.xilnex.com/CustomerEngagement?tab=CRM
  2. Navigate to Loyalty News Management

  3. Click "Add Tag"

  4. Enter the following details:
    1. Tag Name
    2. Display Priority (Higher number = shown first in the list)

  5. Click Save. Your news tag is now created.
  6. To add news content, select 'Add News'.

  7. Edit the news details and contents.
  8. Configure News Display Setting allows you to organize the news in order.
