What is Menu Session setting?
The
Session function in Menu Management is designed to control when a menu is active and available for ordering. It ensures that menus are only shown or applied during their intended time periods, such as breakfast hours, lunch promotions, or special event dates.
Key Benefits:- Ensures menus are automatically scheduled based on time and date.
- Reduces the need for manual switching between menus.
- Provides flexibility to manage daily operations, special events, and seasonal promotions.
Time
- Defines the start and end time of a menu session.
- Example: Breakfast menu from 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM, Lunch menu from 10:31 AM – 2:00 PM, etc.
- If multiple sessions overlap, the system refers to the Priority Level to decide which menu to display.
