Resetting MFA using Superadmin Account
This guide is intended for users who:
- Entered an invalid or inaccessible email during the MFA setup, causing OTP delivery to fail.
- No longer have access to their previously registered email to receive the OTP.
- Need to reset MFA for themselves or team members due to account recovery issues.
Before you continue
- Make sure you have access to the Superadmin account, or
- Contact your Superadmin and request them to perform the steps below on your behalf.
Note: The Superadmin account refers to the primary username created during the initial setup of your Xilnex account.
How To Reset MFA?
2. Navigate to [System Configuration] > Under the section [User & Role] > [User Management] > [User List]
3. Find the username you want to reset and double-click it.
4. Click the blue [Reset] button under MFA.
5, If successful, a confirmation prompt will appear.
If you receive a permission error, ensure you are logged in with the Superadmin account and repeat the steps above.
6. Inform the user to refresh the login page and reconfigure the MFA process.
