Resetting MFA using Superadmin Account

Idea
This guide is intended for users who:
  1. Entered an invalid or inaccessible email during the MFA setup, causing OTP delivery to fail.
  2. No longer have access to their previously registered email to receive the OTP.
  3. Need to reset MFA for themselves or team members due to account recovery issues.

Before you continue
  1. Make sure you have access to the Superadmin account, or
  2. Contact your Superadmin and request them to perform the steps below on your behalf.
NotesNote: The Superadmin account refers to the primary username created during the initial setup of your Xilnex account.


How To Reset MFA?

1. Login to Xilnex Portal with the Superadmin account.

2. Navigate to [System Configuration] > Under the section [User & Role] > [User Management] > [User List]



3. Find the username you want to reset and double-click it.

4. Click the blue [Reset] button under MFA.

5, If successful, a confirmation prompt will appear.


Alert
If you receive a permission error, ensure you are logged in with the Superadmin account and repeat the steps above.

6. Inform the user to refresh the login page and reconfigure the MFA process.
