Creating An SMS Campaign

Requirement

  • Xilnex Username (with Xilnex Portal access granted)
  • SMS account
    Info

How to create an SMS Campaign?

SMS Marketing

1. Navigate to Xilnex Portal > Customer Engagement > Customer Engagement Platform.

2. Go to SMS Marketing

3. For first time setup, go to Integration account > Click Edit to add an SMS account


4. Fill in the SMS account information in the required fields:
  1. Fill in your SMS account username and password and service ID
  2. For account provided by Xilnex billing team, use WEB001 as SMS Service account ID
5. Once setup your account, you may go to SMS Marketing and start blast your first campaign.

SMS Campaign/Send SMS 

1. Go to SMS Marketing.

2. Click New.


3. Fill in the required fields and the desired SMS content.
  1. You may add the attribute into the content, system will auto populate the info into the attributes added (only applicable to the existing client from the master client).
  2. Please take note on the additional dos and don'ts stated in the box.

4. Select Recipients:
  1. Existing members type
  2. Direct Import client contact number (Make sure the mobile number you import follows this format: 6012xxxxxxx)

5. Set Send Time
  1. Send now or Schedule a specific date and time

6. Preview
  1. Click "Preview" button on the right to see how the SMS looks like!

7. Save and the campaign is created!
