Can I install Xilnex
RetailPOS (Xilnex Classic) on Mac?
Xilnex RetailPOS is only supported on Windows. However, if you have multiboot
utilities on your Mac that runs Windows OS, you can install the program
flawlessly, provided the required Windows resources is available
What is the minimum
requirement to install Xilnex RetailPOS?
Minimum: Windows 7 and above / Duo Core Processors / 4GB RAM / 256GB Drive /
64-bit OS
Recommended: Windows 7 and above / Quad Core Processors / 8GB RAM / 256GB Solid
State Drive / 64-bit OS
How to install Xilnex RetailPOS?

When can I start using
the program after the installation?
We always recommend you wait for the sync until it is fully completed.
Alternatively, you can reach out to Xilnex Application Support Team if you have
any concerns.
Can I back up Xilnex
first before I send my PC to repair?
No. Xilnex RetailPOS is a cloud POS. Our focus is to secure your data on the
cloud server. A clean installation will be required if you have reformatted
your Windows operating system. However, if you have any further concerns and
wish to know more about backing up the data locally, kindly send us an enquiry.
How do I know which
application version I am supposed to use?
We're working on it currently. As of now, kindly reach out to Xilnex
Application Support Team to verify your version.
Are there any charges
for version updates?
Our Application and Database version upgrade is
FOC.
Why the application doesn't seem
to work properly, even the sync is slow sometimes?
Whitelist Xilnex RetailPOS.exe in your Anti-virus
software. Alternatively, we suggest you contact our Xilnex Application
Support Team to assist you on this.
Why unable to download the
application? Error download has failed due to the network
interruption.
Try updating your DNS to Google Public DNS. If the
issue persists, kindly contact Xilnex Application Support Team for further
assistance.
Is it possible to have multiple outlets registered in the database but not
all sales data of other outlets are needed on this machine?
Yes, it is possible to setup. You may head over to Database Configuration to
set some sync filters (Sales group only). This would save a lot of space
in your local drive and a full sync (0% to 100%) would also take a
significantly lesser amount of time to complete.

How to provide anydesk number to Xilnex support?

Can I use another account other than the Super Admin
account to create a new user?
No. Please use the Super Admin account for user management including the
user group permission setting.
Do I have to use email or mobile number only as a
username? Is there any alternative?
For the time being, you can only use a valid email or mobile number for
user creation.
Is there a way I could set a minimum requirement for
Xilnex Password, like at least a special character in my password?
You may configure the password policy in Xilnex Password Policy.
Can I create user B account in Outlet A?
Yes, configure the [Allowed Outlet] in the permission control.
Can I use Biometric Enrolled and Magnetic Card Enrolled
without the devices?
No, you will need to purchase the devices from Xilnex to use this function.

Can I set up Biometric Enrolled and Magnetic Card
Enrolled in the WebApp Portal?
No, the biometric and magnetic card only can be set up in [Xilnex
RetailPOS].
Can I change the password without internet connection?
No, Internet connection is required to change the password.
