Getting started
You should have been given an account to start with. If you have not received an activated account, Kindly contact
info@xilnex.com for registration.
Installation
3. Select sales channel on the left menu.
4. Choose the product that you need to install (Please make sure you are using Windows Administrator account)
5. Choose classic for install Xilnex RetailPOS
6. Right click the Setup.exe and choose Run as administrator to proceed installation. Internet connection will be required during this installation
7. Click OK when the setup window appears to continue the installation.
8. Wait until the installation complete
9. A message will be prompted upon installation complete. Click OK to complete the installation.
Checking application version
The application version that comes with the default installer is version 2.3.
The application version update shall take place in the background automatically. Try restarting your Xilnex RetailPOS to check if the version is updated. Alternatively, you may contact us to verify if the current version is suitable for your needs.
Local Database
Local Database is generated locally on the targeted drive, and it is unique for one machine only. Thus, we do not suggest you back up the folder and paste it back after resetting the machine.
Every PC installed will be recognized as SITE ID (or known as Machine ID, Counter ID) is also a unique ID registered for one active machine only. This ID is registered or determined via the current network physical address.
If your PC is cloned, remove the key "SyncX" from the registry before generating the local database.

Generating Local Database
1. Launch the application and login to Xilnex RetailPOS with an activated account.
2. Wait until the Setting up for the first time complete. Then system will continue with a synchronization
3. A window with a synchronization bar when the local database is successfully generated. The system will begin to sync your outlet info and user data. This process may take some time to complete.
4. Once the synchronization is completed, select an outlet to continue the setup.
5. Click one time on the cloud icon to start sync. Click on Force Sync.
