How to Setup Xilnex Loyalty Lite

1. Accessing Loyalty Lite
  1. Login to Xilnex Portal
  2. Navigate to Customer Engagement → Loyalty Application → Loyalty Lite
  3. Enable Loyalty Lite

2. Configure Custom Domain
  1. Set your preferred Loyalty Site Name.
  2. Click Verify to confirm domain usage.


3. PWA (Progressive Web App) Settings
These settings control how the Loyalty Lite app appears on a customer’s phone.
  1. Configure App Icon and App Name.


  2. Select Preferred Country
    1.   Determines country code in Login/Registration page.
    2.   Determines currency display in transaction history.

  3. Personal Detail Upon Creation
    1. You can customize which pieces of customer information are collected during registration.  Available fields such as:
      1.   Address
      2. Email
      3. Gender
      4. Race
      5. Date of birth
      6. Contact no
      7. Preferred Store
        1. Additional Setting - Store Management, decide how store locations appear in the Preferred store dropdown:
          1. POS store: All Xilnex Classic POS stores—including test stores.
          2. Loyalty Display store: Custom stores created under Customer Engagement → Loyalty Display Store.
      8. NRIC
      9. Referral
      10. Name

Idea
You can choose to make it required (will be marked with *) or optional. Set this during the configuration process.

4. Membership Type
  1. Define your loyalty membership types (e.g., Regular, Loyal, VIP).
    1. Start by creating member/client types in POS or through the client list: Client Type Settings.


  2. Assign one type as the default for loyalty registrations.


  3. Add Multiple Membership Types
    1. If you have multiple membership types, click “Add Membership Type” at the bottom right.


  4. Advanced Membership Upgrade Rules
    Note: Membership upgrade requirements must be configured on the backend.
    1. Membership Type Name (Must match the exact name created in POS. It is case-sensitive.)
    2. Required Points Level

      500 pts and above
      *Expiry Date: 1 Year upon achieving current tier
5. Drawer Settings
Enter the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any other relevant links you want to display on the Lite page.

6. Login Options
You can set the registration/login method to use either Phone Number or Email.
Warning
Important Note:
Do not switch the login/registration method frequently, as it may affect existing loyalty client data.
Example: If you launch the loyalty program with Email login, avoid changing it to Phone Number login after 3 months.

Secondary Lookup Option
  1. Enable this only if you previously allowed Email login and later switched to Phone Number login.
  2. When enabled, an additional page will appear on the Loyalty Lite site asking: “Are you an existing member?”
    1. If the user selects Yes, they will be prompted to enter their previously registered Email, allowing the system to bind their old account to the new login method.
  3. If you are starting a new loyalty program from scratch, do not enable this—it will only add unnecessary steps for end users.

7. Live Order Link
Enable this option to display the “Order Now” button at the top right of the Loyalty Lite page. This button directs clients to the LiveOrder ordering platform.
Alert
Make sure the LiveOrder service is enabled before using this option.

8. Points and Credit Display Settings
Use this setting to define which information appears on the homepage:
  1. Points
  2. Credit
  3. Top-up Feature (requires setup) 
  4. AlertRequirement: Before enabling, ensure you have completed the following in the Payment Profile:
    1. Create a valid payment profile.
    2. Enable the option “Enable this payment profile for client top-up purpose."
9. Theme and General Styling
Select your preferred theme color and configure the basic information display design.

10. Section Configuration (Homepage Display)
This section lets you arrange the module sequence and control which modules are displayed. Simply drag and drop the module titles to reorder them, or disable modules that are not applicable.

11. Loyalty Default Store
  1. After completing the above steps, you will need to create an store for loyalty.
  2. This ensures that members registered through Loyalty are separated from members created in the normal POS.
  3. Navigate to: System Configuration > Store Management
  4. Click Add store.
  5. Enter the Store Name.
  6. Tick “Mark as Loyalty app default store.”
  7. Click Save.
