Configure Default Client Type for Loyalty Member
Configuring the Default Client Type for Loyalty Members
Define a default client type for your loyalty members; for example, name it "Loyalty" or any preferred client type name. Once a user successfully signs up through the Loyalty program, the system automatically assigns this default client type to them.
Why this matters: Setting a default client type allows you to differentiate between:
- Members who registered via the Loyalty program
- Clients created from Xilnex Classic POS or other platforms
Note: If no default client type is set, the system will assign "NEW" as the client type by default.
How to Configure?
- Log in to https://portal.xilnex.com/
- Navigate to System Configuration > Client Type Settings (https://portal.xilnex.com/SystemConfiguration/ClientTypeSettings)
- Create a new Client Type or select an existing one to edit
- Check the "Mark as Loyalty Default" checkbox.
- Save — setup is complete
