Configure Default Client Type for Loyalty Member

Configuring the Default Client Type for Loyalty Members

Define a default client type for your loyalty members; for example, name it "Loyalty" or any preferred client type name. Once a user successfully signs up through the Loyalty program, the system automatically assigns this default client type to them.

Why this matters: Setting a default client type allows you to differentiate between:
  1. Members who registered via the Loyalty program
  2. Clients created from Xilnex Classic POS or other platforms
Notes
Note: If no default client type is set, the system will assign "NEW" as the client type by default.


How to Configure?
  1. Log in to https://portal.xilnex.com/
  2. Navigate to System Configuration > Client Type Settings (https://portal.xilnex.com/SystemConfiguration/ClientTypeSettings)

  3. Create a new Client Type or select an existing one to edit
  4. Check the "Mark as Loyalty Default" checkbox.

  5. Save — setup is complete
