How to Activate / Deactivate a menu?
The
activate/deactivate button in Menu Management allows users to control whether a menu profile is
currently active and available for use across selected outlets and order sources.
How It Works:- Activate
- When a menu profile is activated, it becomes live and can be applied in POS, online orders, kiosks, or any linked order sources.
- Activated menus will follow the defined sessions, outlet settings, and order source configurations.
- Example: Activating a "Weekend Brunch Menu" makes it available only during the brunch session hours.

- Deactivate
- When a menu profile is deactivated, it is disabled and will no longer appear to customers or POS users, even if it is configured with outlets or sessions.
- This is useful for seasonal or temporary menus that are not currently in use but may be reactivated later.
- Example: Deactivating a "Christmas Menu" after the festive season.
