How to Activate / Deactivate a menu?

The activate/deactivate button in Menu Management allows users to control whether a menu profile is currently active and available for use across selected outlets and order sources.

How It Works:
  1. Activate
    1. When a menu profile is activated, it becomes live and can be applied in POS, online orders, kiosks, or any linked order sources.
    2. Activated menus will follow the defined sessions, outlet settings, and order source configurations.
    3. Example: Activating a "Weekend Brunch Menu" makes it available only during the brunch session hours.

  2. Deactivate
    1. When a menu profile is deactivated, it is disabled and will no longer appear to customers or POS users, even if it is configured with outlets or sessions.
    2. This is useful for seasonal or temporary menus that are not currently in use but may be reactivated later.
    3. Example: Deactivating a "Christmas Menu" after the festive season.
