Installation and Profile Setup
Download Xilnex KDS 2.0
- Download from Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Windows Store by searching "Xilnex KDS 2.0."
- Alternatively, use the Xilnex Deployer from the Xilnex web portal.
Configure KDS Settings via Portal
- Go to the Xilnex portal (https://portal.xilnex.com/Operations).
- Navigate to "KDS 2.0 Global & Profile Setup."
Global Profile
This acts as the default configuration, applying to all KDS devices unless a specific profile is assigned.
Use Global Profile when you want a unified, standardized behavior across all outlets or kitchen stations.
Custom Profile
This is where you tailor behavior per station or role.
Use Profile Setup to customize how a KDS behaves based on its function, such as:
• “Grill Station”
• “Drink Counter”
• Customer Display Profile
Naming each profile clearly helps your team identify which station a KDS is assigned to.
What's the difference?
There are 6 sections under a profile configuration. These sections can be configured separately to either follow a default configuration (global) or a customized one:
- General
- Stage
- Bump Stage
- Filter
- Theme & Styling
- Maintenance
