What is Wait Event (Delay)?

1. Wait Delays add a pause in the journey before the next action.
   
2. A delay duration (hours or days) is set after an event before the journey moves to the next step.
   
3. Wait Delays help space communication so engagement feels natural and not overwhelming.
   

Example of Wait Events

Send follow-up email 3 days after a purchase.

Send reminder message 7 days after signup if voucher has not been redeemed.
