CX Builder: Condition Event
What Are Condition Event?
A Conditions Event branches a customer journey into different paths based on data, behavior, or logic. Conditions Events support personalization and control who receives which offers or messages.
How Conditions Events Work In Practice?
After a journey starts (with Wait Event or Automated Event), a Conditions Event can decide what happens next.
Example of Condition Events
Customer signs up → condition checks whether customer type equals VIP → VIP receives RM20 voucher, non-VIP receives RM10 voucher.
Automated event detects inactive customer → random decision splits the group (50% SMS reminder, 50% email reminder).
Condition Types
Type | Description |
Journey Counter | The frequency with which the customer engaged in actions throughout this journey |
Customer | Checks customer attributes such as customer type, current points balance, and created outlet |
Days of the Week | Verifies the day of the week when the journey arrives at this stage (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) |
Random Decision by Percentage | Randomly assigns customers based on predetermined percentages |
Current Date | Match the values for comparison (greater than, less than, or equal to) along with the corresponding date value |
