CX Builder: Automated Events
Automated Events
Automated Events are system-triggered events that must be placed at the beginning of a customer journey. Automated Events start journeys based on predefined customer data conditions and do not rely on real-time user actions. The system runs periodic checks (for example, daily) and triggers journeys when conditions are met.
Why It Matters?
Automated Events help businesses proactively engage customers even if they’re not currently interacting with the business.
Examples of Automated Events
- Detect a customer’s birthday and send a birthday voucher.
- Identify customers inactive for the last 30 days and send a reactivation offer.
