Viewing Notification in Xilnex Mobility

Composing Notification in Xilnex Portal

1. Login to Xilnex Portal using your Xilnex credential.

2. Click on "Operations" tab on the left side panel

3. Under Business Operations, click on "Notification".

4. Previously composed notifications will be displayed in this list based on the date period.

5. To compose a new notification, click the "New" button.


6. Input the necessary information based on the available fields.
  1. Image Upload: Allows users to upload an image that is associated with the message.
  2. Date: Specifies the date that the notification should be sent.
  3. Time: Specifies the time the notification should be sent.
  4. Notify Recipient Type: Defines the type of recipient (eg: By store, user, or a combination of both)
  5. Notify Store / User Group or Both: The list that is available for this is dependent on the type selected in (d) above.
  6. Environment: Defines the target recipient mobile application.
  7. Priority: Labels the importance of the notification, without any impact on the priority of message sending.
  8. Message Tag: Allows users to label the notification with tags for identification or categorization purposes.
  9. Edit Tags: A link to manage or create new message tags.
  10. Notification Intent: Specifies what action will be triggered if the user selects the action.
  11. Positive Action Label: Defines an action label for a positive response.
  12. Positive Intent: Specifies what action will be triggered if the user selects the positive action.
  13. Negative Action Label: Defines an action label for a negative response.
  14. Negative Intent: Specifies what action will be triggered if the user selects the negative action.
  15. Title: The title or heading of the notification.
  16. Short Description: A brief summary or highlight of the message content.
  17. Message: Full message body or details to be shown in the notification.

7. Click "Save" to confirm sending this notification.


Receiving Notification in Xilnex Mobility

1. Xilnex Mobility must be launched and previously logged in, in order to receive notification. 
2. The message will be sent to the target application based on the date and time defined during the message composition above.
3. The image below shows a sample of the notification received on the device. Clicking the notification will launch Mobility and display the message content.


4. Click on the icon to open the notification list.
5. Click any available notification in the list to view the message content.
