Creating a Reminder Task Type
What is Reminder Task Type?
A reminder task is an informational task used to notify or remind users about an event, action or update that does not require in-app transactional processing.
- No direct link to any inventory or operation module in Xilnex Mobility.
- Status change from New → Completed only upon task completion.
- Designed to improve internal communication and awareness.
- Staff briefings or reminders
- Event notifications
- Policy updates or announcements
- Holiday closure notices
Steps to create this task
1. Input the compulsory fields in the "Task Information" according to Step 7 under Creating Task in Xilnex Portal above.
2. Click on "Function" tab.
3. The function field is automatically selected as "Reminder" as this is the first option of this field.
4. An explanation for each task type is described below this field.
5. There are 2 actions that can be performed:
i. Save: Only saves this task without any task assigned to the applied outlets and assignees. Task setting may still be edited.
ii. Confirm: Confirms and generate individual tasks to the applied outlets and assignees. No editing allowed after this action.
6. Click on the "Task Progress" tab to view the individual status of the task assigned to specific assignee.
