Basic - How to set terminal to use beta version

  1. Terminal Monitoring

This terminal monitoring page helps keep an eye on terminal operations by tracking important details like the terminal name, computer name, site ID, app version, database version, current status, and when it last synced up.

It focuses on key aspects like the latest login activity, the terminal’s status, the app version in use, and the API version. 


  1. Set terminal to use Beta version

Make sure you login into Xilnex POS in the terminal before continuing with the steps below:

  1. Login to Xilnex portal
  2. Select sales channel and choose classic

  1. Then choose Terminal monitoring

  1. Or you can direct search Terminal monitoring from the portal search bar

  1. On the Terminal monitoring page, you can search the Terminal by site ID, Terminal name or Computer name

Terminal monitoring > Search by site ID/Terminal name/Computer name

  1. From the terminal list select the View details 

Terminal monitoring > More … > View details

  1. Then select the Version update from left menu and enable beta version, you can set the beta start date and expiry date. 

Terminal monitoring > Version update > Enable Beta > Set start and expiry date

  1. After completing setup on portal, login once into Xilnex POS, after that restart Xilnex POS and you can see its running on Beta mode

Note: If you do not login during the setup beta version for the terminal and found the terminal not running on Beta version, please restart the Xilnex POS again.
