Guidelines to Set Up Promotion for Walk-in (System Default)
Guidelines to Set Up Promotion for Walk-in (System Default)
Previously, the system did not have a specific indicator for walk-in customers. As a result, all promotion rules applied equally to all customer types, including walk-in customers.
However, there was no way to configure promotions exclusively for walk-in customers.
With this enhancement:
- A “Walk-in (System Default)” option is now available in the Customer Type dropdown list.
- This allows users to create promotion rules specifically for walk-in customers.
- Existing promotion setups will remain unchanged and continue to function as before.
- New users can now define promotions by selecting only “Walk-in (System Default)” under Customer Type.
