CX Builder Use Case 1: Setup Signup Get Voucher/Points/Credit

Use for loyalty app or lite applications, vouchers/points/credits will be auto generated to user after they successfully signup as members.
  1. Go to portal https://portal.xilnex.com/
  2. Go to Customer Engagement>Customer Engagement Platform>Customer Journey (CX Builder)
  1. Click “New” to create new journey
  2.  Fill in Journey Name, Description, Activate Journey Status, and set active date.
  3. Customer Type to leave it Blank.
  4. Then click Next.
  1. Select “Start with Wait Event”.
  1. Fill in Wait Event Name and Wait Event Type:
    1. Customer Signup in Loyalty App(Xilnex Loyalty API creation) or
    2. Customer Signup in Xilnex Platform(Portal creation,Xilnex POS creation, Xilnex CoreAPI creation),
  2. and click “Add”
  • Customer Type to leave it BLANK.


  1. Wait event created
  1. Select the ✅ button, then click System Trigger Action.
- This means what is the action will be triggered if users achieve “Wait Event”
  1. Input Action Name and select Action Type
  • Issue Voucher
  1. Issue Accumulated Points (Spendable Points)
  2. Issue Xcard Credit
11a. To Issue voucher
If to issue voucher, just select the voucher catalogue you would like to issue and then click “Add”
Then Triger Action event is created.
11b. To issue points
  • Select Issue Customer Accumulate Point
  • Expiry day and Advance expiry date can leave it blank, normally are not applicable
  • Outlet can leave it blank
  • Remarks: Suggest to input “Welcome Rewards” “Signup Rewards” “Registration Rewards”
  • Sync to lifetimpoints, this means that the points will need to sync to Lifetime points/Tiering points? (If you do not have any tiering set, can left this field blank)
    • Free Spendable points WILL NOT sync/add to Lifetimepoints
    • Free Spendable points WILL sync/add to lifetimepoints which will directly impact user's tier
  • Select Reward Type: Mobile app sign up. 
  • Customer Type to leave it Blank
  • Click “Add”. Then Triger Action event is created.
11c. To issue Xcard Credit
  • Select Action Type: Topup Xcard Credit
  • Input Amount
  • Credit Token Type: Normal Credit
  • Expiry day and Advanced Expiry Date can leave it blank, if you would like to provide non-expiry points rewards. Else you can input the points validity after users receive the points
  • Click “Add”. Then Triger Action event is created.

  1. Select add End Journey after the trigger action been added:
13. Input End Journey Name and Add:


You can create multiple system trigger events just like below sample picture:

14. Click “Save” then your customer journey has successfully created!
