Purchase With Purchase (PWP) Discount
Use Case: Encourage cross-selling of related or complementary products.
From the sample screenshot above, this PWP promotion lets customers enjoy a 50% discount on a selected reward item once they purchase a qualifying product.
How it works:
- The setup requires two parts:
- Qualifying Purchase (Trigger): the item that activates the promotion (e.g., Set Meal).
- Reward Item: the item that receives the discount (e.g., Drinks).
- When both the Set Meal and Drinks are added in the same transaction, the Drinks item is discounted by 50%.
- If only one of them (either the Set Meal or the Drinks) is added individually, the promotion does not apply.
- The discount is strictly applied to the reward item and only if the trigger item is present in the transaction
