Overview
The P&L Flash Report tab allows you to generate P&L reports based on a selected reporting period. The report summarizes your stores financial performance using the latest synchronized sales and expense data.
This article explains how to generate and download a P&L Flash Report in P&L Operations.
Before generating a report, please ensure that:
- A P&L Performance base has been created.
- P&L Operations has been configured.
- Expense data has been submitted.
- Financial data has been synchronized from Xilnex.
If expense data has not been submitted, the generated report may be incomplete.
Understanding P&L Flash Report
The P&L Flash Report tab allows you to generate financial reports for a selected reporting period.
Each report is generated using the latest synchronized sales and expense data available in the system.
Generating a P&L Flash Report
To generate a report:
- Navigate to P&L Operations.

- Open the P&L Flash Report tab.

- Click the [GENERATE] button located at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select the preferred Base and Store.
- select the date range.
- Click the [GENERATE] button to proceed with generating the report.

- A confirmation modal will appear for you to review the details. If everything is correct, click [GENERATE].

- Wait for the report generation process to complete.

You may need to refresh the page to ensure the status is changing to Success.
- Once the status changes to Success, the report is ready for review.

- click on the [Open] to review the generated report.

Viewing the Report in Lark Base
To view a generated report in Lark Base:
- Navigate to Lark Base and open P&L Performance Base.

- Open the Base that was selected during report generation.
- Go to the Document section.

- Locate and open the generated report.

Setting Permissions
- Only authorized users should be granted permission to generate and download P&L reports.
- Finance teams, business owners, and IT administrators are typically responsible for accessing financial reports.
Good to know
- Reports are generated using the latest synchronized sales and expense data.
- Changes made to submitted expenses are reflected in newly generated reports.
- Previously generated reports may differ from newly generated reports if expense data is updated after the report is created.
