1.0 Customer Onboarding (Registration & Login)

The Customer Onboarding module covers the full flow for new users to create an account, verify their identity, and access the Xilnex Loyalty App for the first time. This process is designed to be fast and frictionless, getting members into the app and earning rewards as quickly as possible.


How Registration Works

When a new user downloads the Xilnex Loyalty App, they are guided through a short registration flow before gaining access to all loyalty features. The process requires either an email address or a phone number, only one is needed, not both.

Once registered, the member is assigned a unique client ID that links their identity, purchase history, and loyalty points across all participating outlets.

Supported Registration Methods

Note: Only one method is required per registration. Members cannot register with both email and phone number simultaneously during the initial sign-up flow.

Registration & Login Flow

Follow these steps to create a new account on the Xilnex Loyalty App:
  1. Sign Up — Open the app and tap Sign Up. Enter your registration details using either your email address or phone number.
  2. Verify Account — A verification code (OTP) will be sent to your email or phone number. Enter the code to confirm your identity.
  3. Log In — Set your password and log in to your account.
  4. Access Loyalty — You now have full access to the app. Start collecting points, viewing promotions, and enjoying your loyalty benefits immediately.

What Happens After Registration

Once registration is complete, the system automatically:
  1. Assigns a unique client ID to the new member
  2. Issues a Welcome Voucher (if configured by the business — see 5.0 Rewards)
  3. Activates the member's Spendable Points and Lifetime Points tracking (see 2.0 Membership)
  4. Makes all loyalty features accessible, including Top-Up, In-App Ordering, and Rewards

If you do not receive your OTP within 60 seconds, check your spam/junk folder (for email) or ensure your phone number is active and has network coverage, then request a resend.

Your login password is set during registration and can be reset at any time via the Forgot Password flow on the login screen.
