Multilevel Pricing

You may store up to 7 different types of pricing for one item with Xilnex. Multilevel pricing allows you to offer various prices to accommodate different customer group needs. Follow the steps in this guide to add multilevel pricing to your items individually, or in bulk (whether via CSV file or Price Modifier).

Prices can be added in the following ways:
Individually
In Bulk via Price Modifier
In Bulk via Price Modifier for Different Outlets
In Bulk via CSV file

Individually

1. Navigate to the Item List icon under the Master Data tab.

2. Find the item you would like to add a new price level and double-click on it.

3. Navigate to the Pricing section on the left, and fill in your customized pricing accordingly.
4. If you wish to change the name of your pricing categories, simply double-click on the words, and make the appropriate changes.
5. Save.

6. While in Item List, you may also highlight a few item rows, right-click and add them to Price Modifier where you can make changes in bulk.

Adding/Editing Pricing in Bulk via Price Modifier

1. If you would like to update pricing in bulk for multiple items, you may do so through the Price Modifier icon. This is found under Master Data.

2. Click on the + sign to add the items you wish to modify.

3. Add the items you would like to update pricing for either by scanning their barcodes or using the Find Item button.
4. All the fields highlighted can be changed. Choose which price you would like to update and fill in accordingly.

5. Once done, Save and return.

6. Your changes will not take effect until you confirm the price change. You may track all price changes via a Price Change ID.
7. Once you are done, click on confirm. You may select and delete any unnecessary items by clicking on the item and pressing the red delete icon.

8. Tick the Change Master Price box in order to change the price of that item across all outlets.
9. Select Apply, and your new pricing is now updated.

In Bulk via Price Modifier for Different Outlets

1. When editing different prices for multiple outlets, you may do so via the Change Location Price function. You will be able to Add Branches of those outlets you wish to configure a new price for. If you do not already have an existing category that you use for a local price, you may tick Auto Create Local Price for empty fields to auto-create one.
2. Once done, click Apply.

Adding/Editing Pricing in Bulk via CSV file

1. Pricing can also be added/edited in bulk using the import function. All files have to be imported via a CSV file.
2. In order to add/edit pricing in bulk, do take note that any changes to the data will be done according to the Item Codes. Hence, keep the item code column, but you may delete any other unnecessary columns.
3. Under Item List, highlight the row of items you would like to make add/edit barcodes for. Go to the dropdown button on the top right, and select the Export button.
4. Select Export (Lite) to export the file in CSV format.

5. Make the necessary changes in the CSV file (Item Codes are a mandatory field) and re-import the file back via Import function in System Configuration.
